Tredington

A church whose history began in 961 boasting a spectacular 210ft steeple, recently renovated. See if you can find the lead bullets from the Civil War in the ancient oak door as you go in. Inside the church find the work of the Saxon and Norman stonemasons and some interesting brasses. There is a church trail available and display material to give you an insight into the thousand year history. Closer to the altar are some low stone benches for the elderly and infirm in the days when the weakest went to the wall!
