St Barnabas and St Nicholas, Burmington
Burmington
Nestled between the Manor House and the old school house, the original church dates back to 1291 but by 1688 it was in ruins. Rebuilt by parishioners, it continued to be extended and improved up to 1849. Next to church there is a tranquil spot in the Memorial Ground, recently planted with wild flowers and offering places to sit and enjoy the peacful surroundings.
