St Peter, Bourton on Dunsmore
Main Street
Bourton on Dunsmore

Part of the Draycote Group, St Peter's dates back to the early 13th Century and stands on high ground at the eastern end of the village. The spire can be seen from many miles away. The magnificent stone font is all that remains of the original building as the church was extensively rebuillt in the 19th Century. In the south aisle wall are two superb coloured windows by Kempe, in memory of members of the Darlington family who lived at nearby Bourton Hall from 1881 to 1902.
