All Saints, Stretton on Dunsmore
Church Hill
Stretton on Dunsmore
CV23 9NA
This church is situated on a hill and is visible from some distance. All Saints was built in 1835, on the site of an earlier Norman church which had fallen into disrepair. It was designed by Thomas Rickman, a major figure in the Gothic revival movement in eccesiastical architecture.
Its symmetrical design with slim pillars which rise some 11 metres from the floor to the nave roof and many windows make its atmosphere light and open.
All Saints is part of the Draycote group of churches, with Frankton, Bourton on Dunsmore, Birdingbury and Princethorpe.
