St John the Baptist, Honiley
off A4177
Honiley
CV8 1NP
Apart from the village, down a quiet lane and surrounded by fields, St John the Baptist is a hidden gem. Built in 1723 as the estate church for nearby Honiley House, it remains unchanged.
It is rumoured that the original design was sketched by Sir Christopher Wren, who lived nearby. It is an excellent example of baroque style and has lovely stained glass windows.
