Tucked away behind the main road which runs through this large village, a church has stood on this site for possibly 1100 years and has many stories to share with its visitors. Excellent leaflets guide you around this special place, which include an eye-spy trail for children. Rest awhile and enjoy the peace of the churchyard.

The yard is a former 19th century blacksmith’s and wheelwright’s workshop, hidden away in the centre of the village of Wellesbourne in Warwickshire. It won BBC Restoration Village competition in 2006 and, after four years of work, the yard will be restored and opened again in 2010, using the money granted by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Restoration.
