Inside St. John’s a magnificent Millennium window depicts Christ in the Market Place surrounded by representatives of local organisations, an appropriate depiction for a church in the middle of a busy market town. St. Nicholas, Beaudesert, the original parish church for Henley, is reached by wandering down Beaudesert Lane which runs alongside St. John’s. Plenty of original Norman features can still be seen inside this building and an interesting Lych gate is still in situ.
