This church dates from 12th century and has some interesting monuments including one which is close to the altar, dedicated to a Rector of Whichford, John Mertun, featuring his spectacles - thought to be the earliest depiction- carved into the side of the tomb in alabaster. You will need to look very carefully to find them!

Whichford Pottery
Established in 1976 by Jim and Dominique Keeling, Whichford Pottery is a family run business. Open Monday to Saturday, you can watch the potters at work and also see their designs in situ in the gardens.
