Divine Inspiration encourages Anglican churches in the Diocese of Coventry to be regularly open to anyone – of any faith or none – for heritage, for education, for use by the wider community and for pure enjoyment of the peace and the power of place that our churches offer.
How many times in a day do you notice a church spire or tower? They are everywhere you look – in our towns, cities and in our remotest rural communities. They are an integral part of our everyday landscape and cultural heritage but are not always as accessible as we might like.
Life changing events have been played out in our churches over the centuries – births, marriages and deaths being just three! Churches have provided a backdrop to our changing history and have played an important role in war, economics and politics, often holding the key to how our communities have formed and grown.
So whether you are a seasoned ‘church crawler’ or someone who has never been inside a church before then this site is for you. All the churches featured here are part of the Divine Inspiration ‘family’ and, as a visitor for whatever reason, you can be assured of a warm welcome and an interesting experience wherever you choose to explore.
